On the needles this week are lots of projects but I am sharing the sock that I started some weeks back and I am close to finishing. A few more rows of the foot before I can start shaping the toe. My husband has been away this week so I have managed to knit these all the time this week.
I am reading a book about the Crusades at the moment. I have wanted to read a book about this part of history since reading Labyrinth by Kate Mosse. The history that I studied at school left huge gaps in my knowledge as I all we seemed to look at was the Romans! I have found as an adult that I love to read books like this or historical novels like Katherine by Anya Seton which is one of my all time favourites.
